Our homemade nature and fairy journals

We found this great idea while on the computer and had to do it. We have the grapefruit tree that was nice enough to let us borrow a small twig for the journals. Y and H loved them, and enjoyed helping in creating process. So simple and easy to use. H is on a fixation lately of connecting with the faeries and sprites and is outside for hours talking to them and visualizing their conversations. Its very cute and endearing but I really need to read more myself in order to help her on her journey for the answers. Y just loves to mimic literally everything H does, so she is just a mini-me.
We definitely have our gifts for everyone in mind now:) We are part of the handmade pledge so this is just another great way to contribute to that, mass commercialism whats that? lol.

100 % wool felt ROCKS!

What an AMAZING product wool is, truly the softest pliable material I have ever used. I never thought it could be so soft but it is! No more poly blend for our house, and such a great addition to our play area also. I currently have been playing around and creating a few new additions to my etsy store. Currently I have 1/2 kiwis ready and fortune cookies. The girls love them and what a nice addition to their growing pantry.

Spring has sprung here and its lovely smelling the grapefruit blossoms outside my office window and hearing the girls play outside in their wonderland of imagination. I love reliving childhood through them, and healing my inner child in the process. Its great how we can grow with each other while learning and teaching one another some valuable and life long lessons.

Hope that you spend some great time with family and friends while creating magnificent memories.
Blessings~
Heather
